WALO is one of Switzerland’s largest privately-owned companies. With an innovative set of construction services and a €multi-billion turnover from projects in Europe, they wanted to drive further growth by expanding into the States.
Working closely with the 100-year old brand, Absurd worked as the strategic partner to help deliver their expansion ambitions and win a number of $multi-million projects in the United States.
The typical infrastructure project has multiple touchpoints across a small number of audiences before being released for tender. Because the audiences were small, they were fragmented, so it was vital that we delivered a strategy that was extremely targeted.
We uncovered the process that project stakeholders go through when initiating a project tender; from understanding the initial trigger to defining project requirements and releasing tender documentation.
It was vital that we understood the motivations of the individuals involved in the process; from cost, to quality to timing implications, this helped inform our messaging.
Through understanding processes, the individuals we needed to influence and the messaging required to do so we were able to plan an extremely targeted multi-channel contact strategy.
